harvest

The band played our first wedding a few weeks ago. It was held at a farm type setting just outside of Saskatoon. We didn’t really plan on it, but we pretty much matched the place perfectly.

I’m at work right now. I worked four nightshifts this week (blugh!) on top of having midterms AND I’m getting sick. I’m on my last night and of course this is the night where I have to file reports with the police. I like my job, however, sometimes I miss working on the farm. It was physically hard work, but at least I don’t have to file reports, work nights, and deal with bullshit…
Anyways, no regrets. I seriously am on a five year plan to get out of debt, finish school, and save some money so I can relocate up north and disappear.

I found my dream house on MLS today. It’s about two hours north from where I live right now and is partially off the grid and is on 82 acres of forest. It’s a barn house with a claw foot tub, cast iron stove, and a developed garden. And totally affordable.
